Review: Stijl in Mainz

Wer am Wochenende auf Schnäppchenjagd nach Skate-, Street-, und Snowwear war hat sicherlich die Stijl in Mainz besucht. Die Herren von Limitees machten aus einem Lagerverkauf gleich ein kleines Event mit Graffittikünstler, kleinem Skatebereich und Erfrischungen. So sympathisch wie die Limitees Jungs war auch die Veranstaltung. Dann hoffentlich bis zur nächsten Stijl in Mainz.

Just a short review from last weekend. The boys from Limitees online shop organizes a nice event for street-, snow- and skatewear in Mainz calles Stijl. Beside refreshments, skatearea, music, party and food you could buy streetwear to fair prices. Hope, there will be a next one, guys!

Review: Frühjahrspreis der Stadt Frankfurt

What to do in sunny Frankfurt on a lazy Sunday afternoon? Visiting a horse race! On Sunday, 19th April Frühjahrspreis der Stadt Frankfurt took place at Rennbahn Frankfurt-Niederrad. Trinking champagne, bet on horses and watching horses and sometimes extraordinary people. But, how to dress? It´s not Acont so you can leave your hat at home - but you feed better with one. Inga wore a complete vintage outfit, Judy complete in Surface to air with vintage glasses and vintage hat. Next race will take place on 3rd May - Frühjahrspreis des Bankhauses Metzler - Stadtrat Albert von Metzler-Rennen. Location: Schwarzwaldstr. 125, 60528 Frankfurt (Niederrad).

For fashion lovers the temporary showroom from Clemens en August was the most important fashion event this weekend in Frankfurt. While eating fingerfood, trinking champagne, having the possibility to speak with the designer Alexander Brenninkmeijer you could take a look at the latest collection and of course buy your favourite pieces. Jennine from The Coveted, Jérome from La Liste de Desiderata, Tina from L* ETOILE PR, Ulrich from Fashionfreax, Jacky from Briseis, the CocoLores Ladies and Mizi from Mizis Madness joined the opening event on Thursday aswell.

Thursday night it was the opening of Clemens en August temporary showroom at DesignFFM in Frankfurt. A complete post about this event will follow but today take a look at the shoes from some visitors. Red shoes belong to Jennine from The Coveted, ballett flats belong to Oahn and boots to Mone.

Review: Bright Tradeshow Part I

Today was Bright Tradeshow in Frankfurt. Day 1. Here some photos with first impressions. Very crowdy in the old police station where the Bright is based. But, nice and relaxed atmosphere. Watching people skating around, eating & drinking, talking and looking at the upcoming streetwear for autumn/winter 2009. Visiting Azita, Airbag, Sneakers Magazine... and the fashion show by Ontfront and Fenchurch. All pictures and storries next days.

Code meets Bright Tradeshow

At the moment the Fashion world already looks at upcoming Fashion Week in Berlin. Everybody is excited what will happen there. But, first eyes on Frankfurt please. From 24.01 - 25.01. there will be Bright Tradeshow in Frankfurt (as already mentioned to posts ago). Streetstyle and Boardsports at its best. For this occasion the dutch magazin CODE will release a print magazin in cooperation with Bright Tradeshow. Here you can already flip through the magazin online. Will let you know where it will be available.

Bright Tradeshow Frankfurt

On January 24th & 25th there will be Bright Tradeshow. During the years the Bright Tradeshow has established itself to a constant venue for streetwear, sneaker, fashion and boardsports in Europe. It´s not just a tradeshow - it´s an event with fashion shows, art and parties. Will be there for a report. Specially for the afterparty on Saturday, 24th, 22:30. J-Bounce, DJ-Kaos, Rub´n´Tug and many more will join Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 11 (former police station).

Kids like to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Youngsters find one of the greatest clubs for electronic music in germany at the end of this rainbow. Just guess where it is... Ah, you only can see the rainbow in the dark when you drive towards it with your carlights. It´s sprayed with special colors on a bridge.
